TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Driving Licence
Jeep kenya recommends a jeep driving orientation for the first time 4×4 self-drive experience in Africa. A valid driving licence from the country of residence or an international driving permit is required. The hirer must be over 25 years of age and have held a valid driving licence for a minimum of 24 months. He must also be in possession of proper means of identification other than a driving licence.

Deposit
A deposit equivalent to the estimated total cost of the hire plus KShs. 50,000/= (US $ 600) is required by credit card. Final adjustments will be made on completion of the rent a car contract and any excess deposit payment will be refunded.

Insurance
A compulsory daily insurance charge is payable by the jeep hirer. All our vehicles are insured. Loss/damage of tyres, tools and windscreens / glasses are NOT covered by insurance.

Theft Protection
All the 4×4 jeeps must be locked when unattended. The vehicle must not be parked in a public area for long periods. The Hirer is responsible for the security of vehicle. The Hirer must NOT carry passengers for whatsoever reason.

Car Hire Agreement
Self drive 4×4 cars are hired subject to the Company’s standard form of agreement. Notwithstanding the above conditions the Company reserves the right to refuse a hire at any time without assigning any reasons.

Petrol and Oil
Self drive rates exclude petrol / diesel and engine and transmission oil.

Time and Distance
Calculated from base to base.

Visa, Mastercard and American Express accepted.
